Position Overview
ITRegulators, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and comprehensive Cybersecurity Expert to protect, harden, and optimize our clients’ entire operational footprints. In this role, you will oversee end-to-end security architecture, managing everything from physical on-premises local networks, firewalls, and hardware to cloud infrastructure and enterprise Microsoft 365 tenants. The ideal candidate thrives on securing hybrid environments and delivering robust, production-ready defense strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Hybrid Security Management: Secure, configure, and monitor both on-premises network infrastructures (firewalls, switches, routers, endpoints) and Microsoft 365/Azure cloud environments.
- Tenant Hardening & Cloud Governance: Design and maintain Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access policies, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Microsoft Defender suite, and comprehensive Data Loss Prevention (DLP) frameworks.
- Network Defense & Architecture: Implement rigorous Zero Trust network architectures, manage enterprise VPNs, execute proactive vulnerability scanning, and oversee patch management for on-prem systems.
- Infrastructure Migrations: Lead complex technical migrations from legacy systems or hosted third-party environments (e.g., GoDaddy) into fully independent, hardened hybrid or full-cloud infrastructures.
- Incident Response & Auditing: Serve as the primary escalation point for all security anomalies and alerts, conduct root-cause analysis, and execute routine comprehensive security audits across all managed environments.
Qualifications
- Technical Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience spanning network engineering, systems administration, and enterprise Microsoft 365/Azure security ecosystem management.
- Network Hardening: Deep, practical knowledge of physical network security hardware, configurations, and protocols (including Cisco, SonicWall, Fortinet, etc.) alongside modern cloud security methodologies.
- Framework Knowledge: Proven track record designing and implementing robust Zero Trust architectural frameworks across complex hybrid setups.
- Problem Solving: Advanced diagnostic capabilities for troubleshooting complex hardware network blocks, advanced routing issues, and intricate cloud configuration conflicts.
- Certifications: Industry-recognized credentials such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, MS-500 (Microsoft 365 Security Administrator), or CCNA are highly desirable.
