About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to join our IT Operations team at our Bolingbrook, IL office. You’ll be the first point of contact for employees and clients experiencing technical issues, providing hands-on support for hardware, software, and network-related problems.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide first- and second-level technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person
  • Set up, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other office IT equipment
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access across company systems
  • Support onboarding/offboarding of employees from an IT equipment standpoint
  • Maintain IT inventory and documentation of support tickets and resolutions
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or relevant departments
  • Assist with basic network maintenance and office IT infrastructure

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years of experience in an IT support or help desk role
  • Solid understanding of Windows and/or macOS operating systems
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-service mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple support tickets and prioritize effectively
  • CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent (preferred, not required)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Freshservice, Jira Service Management)
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Workspace)
  • Experience supporting remote/hybrid employees
